Price and Payment
The price for services is based on the size of the property. A standard report includes hallway, reception, kitchen, bedroom(s) and main bathroom stairs/landing. Extra rooms/areas such as stairs/landings (for flats and houses with secondary stairs/landings), ensuite bathroom, Shower room, WC/cloakroom, garages, second reception, lofts, conservatories, dining room, utility room, basements etc within the property are priced at £10 each (each has a separate entry for inspection in the report.)
All reports are sent electronically unless stipulated otherwise there is an extra charge. A £30 cancellation fee will be charged if less than 24 hours notice has been given. Any cancellations made on the day of appointment will incur the full fee. No VAT is added on any of TW Inventory prices. The Client is not entitled to withhold any monies due to the Consultant. TW Inventories is entitled to recover all reasonable expenses incurred in obtaining payment from the Client where any payment due to TW inventories is late. TW Inventories reserves the right to apply interest charges for the late payment of any fees overdue for more than 14 days after the period stated on the presented invoice at a rate of 5% net which will be added monthly. A charge of £15.00 per half hour may be made for waiting time at the property beyond the confirmed time for the assignment due to late arrival of a Tenant or Agent, incorrect notified location of keys or documentation, or any delay in gaining access to the property beyond the control of the Clerk or the company. Please note that 'rental furnished' assumes that the Property is lightly furnished for rental purposes. We reserve the right to add additional costs if property is excessively large or overstocked with furniture / kitchen equipment. This will be determined when we conduct the inventory inspection. 0 - 2 beds + 20%, 3 beds and over + 25%. Payments will be accepted by cash, cheque and bank transfer. We reserve the right to make a charge of 50p per mile for an assigned property located further than 3 miles from an assigning Agent's premises. All reports are sent electronically unless stipulated otherwise. This is a paperless company. If you require a paper copy, then TW Inventories reserves the right to charge an additional fee of £20 per hard copy of the inventory. Ts & C’s. © All inventories and reports are subject to copyright and may not be altered, copied or scanned by any person without prior written consent from TW Inventories. Inventories are not to be used for check in or checkout purposes by any other person other than TW Inventories unless the inventory has been paid in full and use of copyright permitted. Check in reports, check out reports, inventory makes, all supporting documentation, images and digital photographs will remain the property of TW Inventories until paid for in full. TW Inventories shall be entitled to invoice the person or persons or company who has given the instruction. If the instructions to prepare the Inventory are given by a letting Agent this contract is deemed to be made between TW Inventories and the letting agent as principal and the invoice rendered to and payable by the letting agent unless agreed in writing with TW Inventories. If the invoice has not been paid in full within 28 days of receipt then without prejudice to any other right or remedy of TW Inventories shall be entitled to charge interest on the amount unpaid at the rate of 1% above the base rate as set by Natwest Bank on the date of the invoice, compounded weekly from the date of the invoice until payment is made in full.
