Price and Payment

The price for services is based on the size of the property. A standard report includes hallway, reception, kitchen, bedrooms and main bathroom. Extra rooms such as landings, en-suite bathrooms, garages, second reception, lofts, conservatories, extra receptions, basements etc within the property are priced at £6 per room unfurnished / £9 furnished (each has a separate entry for inspection in the report).
No VAT is added on any of TW Inventory prices. A £30 cancellation fee will be charged if less than 24 hours notice has been given. If the visit is cancelled on the day of the visit the full fee is payable. The Client is not entitled to withhold any monies due to the Consultant. The Consultant is entitled to recover all reasonable expenses incurred in obtaining payment from the Client where any payment due to the Consultant is late. The Consultant reserves the right to apply interest charges for the late payment of any fees overdue for more than 14 days after the period stated on the presented invoice at a rate of 5% net which will be added monthly. A charge of £15.00 per half hour may be made for waiting time at the property beyond the confirmed time for the assignment due to late arrival of a Tenant or Agent, incorrect notified location of keys or documentation, or any delay in gaining access to the property beyond the control of the Clerk or the company. The Consultant reserves the right to add additional costs if properties are excessively large or overstocked with furniture / kitchen equipment. This will be determined when we conduct the inventory inspection. 0 - 2 beds + 20%, 3 beds and over + 25%. Payments will be accepted by cash, cheque and bank transfer. The Consultant reserves the right to make a charge of 50p per mile for an assigned property located further than 3 miles from an assigning Agent's premises. All reports are sent electronically unless stipulated otherwise. This is a paperless company. If you require a paper copy, then The Consultant reserves the right to charge an additional fee of £15 per hard copy of the inventory.
