A discounted rate is applied when an Inventory and Check-In is carried out at the same time

The price for Services is based on the size of the property
1-bed property – 1 hallway, 1 bedroom, 1 reception, 1 bathroom, 1 kitchen and 1 storage/boiler room
2-bed property – 1 hallway, 2 bedrooms, 1 reception, up to 2 bathrooms, 1 kitchen and 1 storage/boiler room
3-bed property – 1 hallway, 3 bedrooms, 1 reception, up to 2 bathrooms, 1 kitchen and 1 storage/boiler room
4-bed property – 1 hallway, 4 bedrooms, 1 reception, up to 2 bathrooms, 1 kitchen and 1 storage/boiler room
The Consultant is also entitled to recover all reasonable expenses incurred in obtaining payment from the Client where any payment due to the Consultant is late.
The Client is not entitled to withhold any monies due to the Consultant.
No VAT is added on prices.
All reports and a complete set of digital imagery are sent electronically unless stipulated otherwise.
A £30 cancellation fee will be charged if less than 24 hours notice has been given. A call out fee of £50 is levied for missed or aborted jobs on the day of appointment.
A standard report includes hallway, reception, kitchen, bedrooms and main bathroom. Extra rooms such as landings, en-suite bathrooms, garages, second lounges, lofts, conservatories, extra receptions, basements etc within the property are priced at £6 per room unfurnished / £9 furnished (each has a separate entry for inspection in the report).
Landlords and tenants are to make a payment payable before or on completion of the inventory inspection or the report will not be released.
The Consultant reserves the right to apply interest charges for the late payment of any fees overdue for more than 14 working days after the period stated on the presented invoice, at a rate of 4% net which will be added monthly.
A charge of £15.00 per half hour may be made for waiting time at the property beyond the confirmed time for the assignment due to late arrival of a Tenant or Agent, incorrect notified location of keys or documentation, or any delay in gaining access to the property beyond the control of the Clerk or the company.
The Consultant reserves the right to add additional costs if properties are excessively large or overstocked with furniture / kitchen equipment. This will be determined when we conduct the inventory inspection. 0 - 2 beds + 20%, 3 beds and over + 25%.
Payments will be accepted by cash, cheque and bank transfer.
The Consultant reserves the right to make a charge of £0.50p per mile for an assigned Property located further than 5 miles from an assigning Agent's premises.
The Consultant reserves the right to charge an additional fee of £10 per hardcopy of the inventory.
There is a Sunday and Bank Holiday surcharge of £50 per job.
